EXPERIMENTAL TYPEFACE

MYSTERIAL

A limited typeface made by intersecting and dissecting letters from two existing typefaces (Courier and Mistral) to construct new letter forms - whilst working to maintain each typeface’s characteristics equally. Then going on to drastically simplify the forms, distort characters with a heavy blur and finally sharpening and ballooning the letters. Used in various contexts.

Creative proccess and result for custom alphabet - Mysterial.
